Speak out against H.B.133 as well as S.B.5

Senate Bill 5 caused our teachers, our parents and our friends to head out to the streets to protest, to voice their opinions at a town hall meeting, to debate on Facebook and to bombard our State Senator Jimmy Stewart with emails, letters, phone calls and texts.

Remembering Columbine H.S. Thinking about school safety on school shooting anniversary

By Erika Williams, Matrix Photo Editor – Issue 5, Feature – Twelve years ago on April 20, 1999, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold walked into Columbine High School in Colorado with a pistol, a rifle and two sawed off shotguns. Shortly before, their bomb, timed to go off at 11 a.m., failed to detonate. Twelve students and one teacher were killed, and 24 injured. Both committed suicide immediately after their rampage.
