One of Cross Country Coach Fitz Read’s favorite anecdotes takes place during the tornado that struck The Plains in September this year. While the tornado sirens were still sounding, Read received a phone call from one of his runners, Junior Tyler Jackson, who was at Athens High School during the storm.
